Gorgeous Victorian House Tour....

Hey chickens,

Who fancies a sneak peek round a stranger's home?

You?

Me too!

Follow me.....the tour bus departs NOW!

This used to be two semi-detached houses.
The owners bought one, and then the other
 - and converted them into one huge house.
Isn't the new front door brilliant?
It looks so original.

And the same goes for the incredible hallway....

You may weep if you wish.

I would kill for tiles like this.
Not literally.
Don't all run for the door.

They added the boarded cladding themselves
to reflect the beachy location.
I love the mix of commitment to period style
alongside the introduction of coastal features like this.

They've made a point of choosing
high end finishes,
which make all the difference,
don't you think?

The scrumdiddlyumptious kitchen is from Thomas & Thomas.
Isn't it gorgeous?
The dresser is painted Parma Grey
by Farrow and Ball.
I feel another case study coming up....

The flooring is by Drummonds.
Doesn't it look incredible?
Rich and old.
Like a gold-digger's dream.

{I know. I knock myself out every time.}

Did you spot the dog looking cosy in the chair?

Blood red slipper bath?
Mmmm, yes, don't mind if I do....

Those exposed-pipe taps could not be
any more lovely if they tried.

All in all,
I'd say that was a thoroughly enjoyable snoop.
Wouldn't you?

I think we've just got time for a little sit-down
and a nice cup of something delicious
before it's time to hop off
and enjoy the weekend....
